Some good but a lot to work on - Avis employé Officer RxCelerate

Avantages

Good benefits, people are generally really nice and helpful. Most projects are interesting. If overtime happens, time in lieu is given.

Inconvénients

Internal communication is very poor. Experience with the company will largely depend on what team you work in. Often deadlines feel created internally and passed on to junior staff members without management understanding the actual amount of work and the time it takes. Several issues occur over and over and over again and no lessons are learnt from it. The company is constantly growing but all the paperwork is behind, some people have never been given job descriptions. Everything is constantly being 'worked on' and promised to be delivered by the management but it takes months.

Avantages

Opportunity to gain exposure to different projects.

Inconvénients

Pay is below industry standard. Flexible working is limited; the leadership emphasizes physical presence over trust in employees. Long hours and overworking are common. Senior management communication is very poor. Frequent “urgent” requests often result from management disorganization rather than genuine urgency. Leadership involvement can disrupt project progress due to lack of expertise in certain areas. Stress levels are high across most roles due to unclear direction and communication issues. Client information is often poorly cascaded, leading to inefficiencies. Wellbeing initiatives exist in name but are not actively supported.

Avantages

People are friendly and there is always someone willing to advise/assist with queries. Easy to get along with and welcoming. The variety of work was interesting and allowed for a good insight of what projects are going on, with plenty of opportunities to participate and learn.

Inconvénients

Internal communication was not as strong as it could have been. There always seemed to be pieces of information that were not being passed down from the management to the team, which in turn did lead to a lot of frustration and overall morale being rather low. When issues and concerns were raised, it was always "in the works", which is fine and understandably things take time and cannot happen overnight, especially with the company growing. However, nothing ever really seemed to materialise and when pressed for any updates, it was just "in the works". There was also a distinct lack of personal responsibility. When something went wrong there seemed to be a culture of trying to pass the blame around, rather than just owning it and moving on from past errors.
