Ruche Inc is well-meaning, but overall not a place I wanted to make a career out of. Decisions are made by a handful of employees and no questions or deviations are allowed. If you do ask questions, you are practically belittled in front of everyone and are typically discouraged from speaking up again. There is (seemingly) little to no forethought on many company decisions and a lot is kept very secretive - the lack of communication between the warehouse and the office is one thing, the lack of communication between similar departments is entirely unacceptable and possibly damaging to the profitability of the two websites. Nothing ever really changes from day to day, so work can become rote and dull very quickly. There are almost no small perks day-to-day that make work a place you want to be - even snacks in the kitchen would make a huge difference to a lot of people, but everything has been cut due to budgetary limitations. There's an overwhelming vibe of moroseness, as people are being overworked, under appreciated, and treated like sub-par workers. Many people are micromanaged so tirelessly on a daily basis and it really discourages growth and learning within each position.
