Avantages

Super challenging work environment for the right type of employee. Access and ability to work across various industries and with different types of entrepreneurs and company structure. The company has large goals and is attempting to build something truly great and impactful.

Inconvénients

Lack of focus on the details it takes to make a company truely great. Hiring, technical innovation, motivated employees and culture. These details can take this from a company with a grand vision to one of the great companies and opportunities out there.

Avantages

Only pro (which is easily found in ANY other company) is the ability to learn. But this to me is not so much a pro, as I have learned in every company I have been in, by taking on tasks that are outside of my comfort zone. I won't even consider being next to Lincoln Road mall a pro... Maybe for the partners it's a pro (who can afford to live a bit more freely), but DON'T expect to be eating at nice restaurants and shopping (at super expensive stores) with the salary you will be offered.. I had to eat pizza every damn day.

Inconvénients

Horrible pay, sweatshop environment (everyone sitting next to each other, no one gets their own office or desk or cubicle) which constantly forces you to produce, quantity over quality. "Chief Product Architect" has a huge ego trip. Thinks he knows everything, doesn't know squat. Pretty much all chiefs across the board don't give two craps about you, and will easily throw you out if you slip a few times. These are people with questionable ethics (hiring 'interns', stuffing them in a crappy apartment, underpaying them, making them crank out 12 hour days.. to build products for their clients..hmmmm) And last but not least, the cheesiest, most boring, stupidest culture I have EVER seen.
