Avantages
Kind people, very keen and willing to help. Great work life balance (from most managers). Remote first with most of the company working across Canada and US, with an annual retreat to headquarters to meet in person. Will support your professional development.
Inconvénients
Decision making rests in the hands of a few executives who do not hold themselves accountable. Despite the same feedback coming back for years, they are not able to get themselves out of their problems, but will argue with anyone trying to help and act insecure about their title. Without clear direction and leadership from the top down, the company will not evolve and will struggle to get back on track, let alone come close to the aggressive revenue targets set. The only people left will be those who have been there for too long, are too tired to leave and too withdrawn to be able to fix anything. You are spending so much to hire great people to bring the company forward but they all leave after realizing that those leaders won't listen to new ideas and won't give up control to delegate to grow the team. Benefits and vacation time could be better, could be due to small company size.
