Working in Larkspur — the lounge of the hotel, located just off the main lobby and reception — was a great way to finance my working holiday visa in Banff, Alberta. During my nine-month tenure there, I had the pleasure of working alongside warm, welcoming colleagues who shared a strong work ethic and a genuine appreciation for the outdoors, making it a truly enjoyable workplace. As the Rimrock Hotel is an esteemed Accor property, we received a wide range of employee benefits. These included heavily discounted stays at Accor properties around the world during off-peak periods, subsidised staff accommodation, free staff meals, and access to guest tours and excursions when space allowed. I couldn't reccommend working here enough!

Inconvénients

The hotel business fluctuates with occupancy levels, meaning one week could be extremely busy — requiring employees to work nearly every day — while the next week might be quiet, with only a few shifts available.
