Avantages

You can begin a career in providing MH services.

Inconvénients

Unsafe work environment as you go into client homes by yourself. Clients often do not have therapists so you are their primary MH support; however, you are told you cannot use evidence-based practices. You cannot pick your clients or stop seeing them if it is not a good fit. You are belittled in supervision. The pay was very low - $13 per hour. Burnout and turnover were high.
