cult-like culture
fake people, colleagues and management
a sickening forced positive atmosphere, you could see people smile even if they felt like crying...that was scary sometimes.
micro-management very practiced
lack of support
bullying
exclusion from important information
clear delimitation between workers and managers, so connection was strained or lacking
under-qualified management
being pushed to do more than entailed in job description at no additional pay
no recognition unless written by oneself, that's just wrong, nobody likes to say "I did this and I'm good at that", it's embarrassing and wrong for management not to see this and be proactive as they preach
cultivate the mentality of "what's your favourite colour? Red. Wrong, it's green, you fail" in which your decision is wrong regardless if its just an opinion, advice or anything like that
decision-makers run from their responsibility so if you do make a decision they jump on you for overstepping your limitations
no empowerment as they are the bosses
there are just too many cons to mention and the overall impression is that the company is rotten to the core, in dire need of replacing the entire high-level management or getting acquired by another firm to change it completely.
