Great start squandered away by arrogance , ignorance and favoritism - Avis employé Sales Lead R3

Ultimately the best engineering talent is laid to waste if they are building an inferior product , and the best sales team still cannot sell a product that doesn’t meet market needs. And that is the crux of R3’s issues - a product team comprised of and led by people who aren’t experts by any stretch of imagination . Most of them have never done this role ever, least of all in a product organization. Topping off their ignorance is their arrogance that prevents them from learning from the competition or their own failings. The intellectual superiority that some people , especially those from the very early days display is mind boggling. A lot of reviews have noted favoritism and that is true. There are at least 2-3 people in senior positions who’ve basically failed in whatever role was assigned to them over the years yet continue to enjoy patronage. A lot of reviews have noted attrition issues and the HR response really has been one of filibustering ... it’s not about how many are leaving but *who* are leaving. A lot of the old timers who put their heart and soul in here are disillusioned and are moving on.
