Avantages
Mission, great work-life balance, very people-oriented, leadership transparency, unlimited PTO, lots of holidays that many companies don't recognize (e.g., Indigenous People's Day), fun job. I felt welcomed and supported from the start and enjoyed my time at pymetrics. I was given the freedom to explore and try new things for the betterment of the team. Loved going to work each week with a great team. I would still recommend it.
Inconvénients
I was pretty insulated in my role, so didn't experience the toxic cons that many reviews mention. I didn't have enough direct interaction or general meeting screen time with the CEO to comment on her job performance. The employee turnover during my tenure was concerning. At a lower, more personal level, I felt a little too micromanaged after a restructuring added an additional layer, hands in the mix, and eyes on my day-to-day, including concerns about how I spent my time and whether or not I was gainfully employed each day. As an adult with 15+ years of professional experience, I was quite offended by that and having to "sell" myself. Also, didn't understand why conversations and meetings relating to my job responsibilities happened across departments and with external vendors without my presence or input.
