Avantages

Very nice company to work in general. Good benefits, good location,becoming more and more flexible in terms of working location, either at the office or from home. There is a lot of learning opportunity within the Accounting. Its flat structure provides that opportunity for those who really want and show their best. People like the company as a lot of them stay for many years. HR is really working hard to improve inclusive behavior, atmosphere and culture. Another good point is nice people overall to be around.

Inconvénients

Dis-functional management style in Accounting. Reaches from micromanagement, miss-management, for some lack of decision making skills and poor communication. This behavior is often transferred to the other peers and subordinates which makes the atmosphere not very pleasant to be in. The pay is not as good anymore since some competitors offer higher rates. People also stuck in their roles for way too long making some of them unbearable to be around and also not very open to learning new skills, etc.

I am sorry to hear about your experience with the accounting management. The accounting management team has gone through a lot of change in the last year, specifically to further develop managers. We continue this development with training and feedback. We're working hard to make our culture even more inclusive, so every employee feels they can speak their mind freely. Inconvénients

The expectations for building maintenance and customer service are high, which can make for busy days, but it also creates opportunities to learn and develop new skills. Depending on the property portfolio, there may be times when multiple priorities need attention at once, requiring strong time-management and problem-solving skills.
