      Avantages

      When I wake up in the morning I am excited to go to work! The Portland Rescue Mission has a highly relational and supportive environment. I feel encouraged and supported by staff ministries (HR) and have the best boss I have ever worked for. I get to support struggling mothers and children in their walk to find a new life while sharing the good news of restoration through Jesus. The benefits here are amazing! I get three weeks of vacation time and one week of sick time per year, plus 10 paid holidays. This is by far the best job I have ever had.

      Inconvénients

      It can be emotionally draining sometimes.

      Avantages

      Working at Portland Rescue Mission has been a huge blessing in my life. PRM compassionately serves guests and program participants in tangible ways that make a huge difference in stabilizing the lives of men, women and children. I am constantly touched by the hard work and care demonstrated by my coworkers. PRM is caring for the most vulnerable in our city and doing it with professionalism and integrity.

      Inconvénients

      PRM is a donor-funded, non-profit so wages may not be as competitive as social service organizations with bigger pockets (and more bureaucracy).
