Avantages
* At its height, (2021-2023 pre-layoffs), PS had the best work culture I have ever experienced. DEI initiatives, a thriving internal community discussing mental health, lots of women and queer folks supporting each other, tons of wellness days. * My manager consistently cared about my mental wellbeing and how I was doing as a human being, and practiced a lot of proactive communication with me. * Got to work on lots of interesting, innovative projects that helped me grow and gain new skills
Inconvénients
* My team had 1 manager overseeing 6-8 people, and they often forgot about my goals and needs between our one-on-one's. Would make a promise then forget by next week. * Tons of change and inconsistency that wasn't thought through or validated ahead of time. Leadership would insist I drop everything to quickly turn a project around, only to find within the first week that the project was transparently a bad idea, or wasn't ready to be worked on. * Company vision was vague and inconsistent, the specifics shifting every 6 months and never landing on anything specific or captivating.
