Looks good on resume, but honestly not worth the anguish Fair pay (but that’s if you get paid)

1. They NEVER pay you on time. 2. You will have to fight to get paid, they will make excuses for weeks to avoid paying employees!! 3. Bad communication - if you need anything besides what they need from you onsite, don’t even bother trying. 4. Different expectations and hours than what was discussed in interview, they expect you to jump and do things whenever they want, despite having agreed upon on call days. 5. They may ask you to do some questionable things. 6. Their product… does not work most of the time!!!

Incredible team, with some incredibly talented, down-to-earth people. The technical problems solved are interesting and on the edge of what's been done. You'll also learn everything Not to do in management working at Nextera Robotics.

Definition of toxic work environment. If you can think of something bad a company could do, Nextera probably does it. The company has tried to ban going out with co-workers after hours. They've "messed up" payroll multiple times, sometimes with weeks going by without resolving it. Hires and fires without any warning or heads up to the teams involved. If you enjoy working somewhere, where not taking lunch is rewarded, look no further! CEO is in the office maybe once a quarter. CTO thinks he is the expert on everything, despite every project he has direct involvement in ending in disaster. Every year they decide to "change direction" which amounts to 2 people getting replaced immediately without further warning, and nothing else. STAY AWAY if you value your sanity, it's not worth whatever they pay you.
