      Without any prior warning, you may suddenly find yourself terminated from this company. The management team's response to a team member's passing was completely inadequate. No one from HR informed anyone about the tragic news, and it was only discovered through someone who had already left the company. How is this possible? Similarly, another colleague's father passed away, and no one communicated this to the team. Furthermore, there is a severe lack of communication between team members.       I completed translation work for Midlocalize in January 2026. Despite submitting invoices and multiple follow-ups, payment has not been received as of May 2026. I have attempted to resolve this matter through several channels, including repeated email follow-ups, direct communication with project managers, and messages via their official social media platforms (LinkedIn and Facebook), but have not received a satisfactory response or resolution. Communication has been inconsistent, and my attempts to settle this privately and professionally have been unsuccessful. Based on this experience, I strongly advise freelancers to clarify payment terms in advance and proceed with caution when engaging with this company.
