Avantages

Microchip has a great culture and working environment. I worked for Microchip for 15 years and never had a day where I regretted going to work. Microchip works hard to keep it's staff happy and retain staff during tough economical & industry cycles, this something MOST companies DO NOT do! I experienced a great amount personal and professional growth during my employment and never had a manager or supervisor that I didn't like. Microchip's benefit package is very competitive and shares its profits among the employee base. The Executive Management team is very approachable and take great care not only for the companies fiscal responsibilities but also for the community through various charities. The company occasionally has to make tough decisions that not everyone agrees with or likes but is the best thing for the company as a whole. I fully trust the executive management to do what is best and make the hard decision, I can't say that about other employers. We all know you can't please everyone but Microchip tries to keep its employees happy. I highly recommend Microchip Technology as an employer, they are great company with proven results!

Inconvénients

Microchip runs very lean so you may not be working on the newest laptop or PC/Mac a long with running lean you are always encouraged to keep spending down which at times can be annoying or inconvenient.

Avantages

There are a handful of people here who are fantastic to work with, are very knowledgeable, and care about the product that's going out the door.

Inconvénients

Leadership is fundamentally out of touch and appears indifferent to employee well-being. The culture is marred by nepotism and a lack of accountability, where 'guiding values' are preached but never practiced. Feedback is discouraged, and those who speak up are often targeted. Expect a 'reward' of more work for the same pay, as promotions are rare and promised bonuses are frequently withheld despite strong site performance. A very frustrating and toxic environment for those who value merit and transparency.
