It's just agreeing to what the Executive Compensation clients demand so they don't go to a competitor. - The job doesn't contribute to creating new thought or improving things in the field. It's essentially social and economic redundancy. Unfortunately that is the nature of compensation consulting in general. If you have a sense of imagination, don't work here.
