Avantages
I am super grateful for my experience at MASH because though strenuous, growth comes from challenge. I entered MASH as a Project Coordinator and grew into an Account Manager. The corporate furniture industry is sink or swim and if you're a go-getter, you can learn A-LOT here. Especially being a custom furniture design and fabrication studio, you can literally learn everything about the industry. The opportunity to gain knowledge of the industry will be directly correlated to your ambition. Additionally, if it wasn't for the tremendous support of the owner, my team and the other teams, I would never be in the position I am today. I believe if you support others, they will support you in return, which is exactly the treatment I received while I was with MASH.
Inconvénients
Regardless of your role in the team, days are long and high pressure. You need to be your own cheerleader, enthusiast and ambitious leader to truly enjoy the work you put in at MASH. However, I believe that long days are more reflective of the industry, not the company, because MASH was for sure not the only company staying late. That said, if work remote access for it's employees would be an option, I think it could go a long way for the company's productivity, culture and growth.
