Avantages
Remote, unlimited time off, flexibility for appointments etc, generous number of company holidays, good benefits, meaningful/variety of work, good people/culture, supportive managers, opinions/input actually matter, no red tape
Inconvénients
No objective performance metrics, but in fairness it is hard to measure and my manager has always been happy. Salary could be better, and no meaningful bonuses despite being profitable. Not much room for upward growth being a relatively small company. I feel I have “plateaued” in my role. Speed > Quality. Not many “exciting” technologies. Level Data recently acquired two other Ed-tech companies with plans for more, but suspiciously, our senior leadership team was restructured and now only includes folks that from the acquired companies except for the CFO. Additionally, they eliminated some of those redundant leadership positions, also suspiciously all people from Level Data. It’s not a good look and doesn’t inspire trust in leadership, and I have talked to coworkers who share the same feelings.
