Avantages

Teaching at LP is okay if you are fine with low salaries. If you steer clear of their politics and just want to teach you should be fine as colleagues are still collegial. Teaching part time at various centres is the best.

Inconvénients

Management has The Learning Lab (TLL) envy and has been actively poaching TLL staff for years. However, LP is not even 10% of TLL, the teaching team is mostly part timers (because the stingy management wants to cheap out), there is no curriculum development team (management too cheap to invest in curriculum unlike in TLL where is a large team), so everyone knows that the curriculum is crap, teacher's development and students experience is also crap. Many parents are complaining about paying a few hundred bucks for entry assessments only to be rejected because their child results are deemed not good enough...plain stupid management. Many parents and kids and staff leave annually LP because they are able to recognise the teaching and curriculum is crap...yet somehow management blames withdrawals on the teachers like us. Rather than aspiring to be TLL, LP should aspire to be Stalford, which has better qualified teachers than LP. LP is an old centre that has been mismanaged and now overtaken by many other centres from Agrader to Eduedge to Zenith (run by 25 year old). Management of LP has built up a reputation of ill treating staff and talking hot air to look good and manipulate but fake over the years.

Training & Professional Development 1) Limited structured training and onboarding across departments, which may affect professional development and consistency 2) Existing systems may lean towards more traditional working styles, which may not fully support evolving expectations around structured growth and modern onboarding practices Operations & Workload 1) The current staffing model appears to rely heavily on part-time staff, which may impact continuity and workload distribution for full-time teachers 2) Teachers may be required to travel between locations at short notice (e.g. for class relief), with limited transport support provided Flexibility & Work Arrangements 1) Limited flexibility in work arrangements (e.g. no work-from-home options) 2) Taking annual leave outside of term breaks may be challenging due to operational constraints Compensation & Recognition 1) Bonus structure appears to be primarily tied to student count where you will not be compensated if target is not met. Limited consideration for broader contributions, dedication and other workload 2) Performance bonus is not guaranteed, and there is no 13th month bonus, which may affect income stability and overall morale 3) Additional responsibilities and internal projects are not clearly reflected in compensation 4) Limited transparency in performance evaluation and reward systems, which may lead to perceptions of inconsistency
