Avantages

Working with Kelly was an experience that had its ups and downs. The bright spot in my time there was undoubtedly the weekly pay on Fridays, which provided a sense of reliability. Additionally, the consistent schedule was a definite advantage, as it allowed me to plan my personal life accordingly. However, despite these positive aspects, there were certain aspects that hindered my overall enjoyment. One major drawback was the difficulty in changing my schedule. It seemed as though there were numerous rules and regulations associated with altering my working hours, which made the process challenging and troublesome. The constant changes in these rules only added to the stress, making it even more frustrating for me. Overall, while the timely pay and predictable schedule were definite highlights of working with Kelly, the arduous nature of adjusting my shifts and the ever-changing rules made the experience difficult and stressful.

Inconvénients

I feel compelled to share my terrible experience working for this company as a sign language interpreter. It is nothing short of a modern-day sweatshop, lacking any standards or regard for their employees' well-being. The company operates under ridiculous rules and penalties that are utterly unfair. Arriving just two minutes late results in a penalty, and even failing to button up your company shirt entirely comes with consequences. Flexibility is nonexistent here, as changing shifts is forbidden, and if you receive a last-minute call, be prepared to work overtime without any consideration for your personal plans or commitments. This place feels like a slave labor establishment, where your needs and rights as an employee are utterly ignored. In fact, I found it necessary to keep a bedpan by my desk because taking even a five-minute break would result in penalties. How can any employee be expected to survive under such conditions? It's disheartening that this company does not uphold any RID (Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf) standards for sign language interpreters. They fail to recognize the importance of treating interpreters with respect and providing them a conducive work environment. It's clear that their priority lies solely in maintaining strict control over their workforce.

Avantages

Providing communications help for health care, insurance, beginning of life, end of life, counseling, IT. Among the highest minutes in the industry. Great record keeping, and pay is only 7 days after the close of every month. The annual training as well as recertification is paid events. Offers relative independence, after several audits, if you comply with excellence in customer service, you are pretty much on your own.

Inconvénients

The minute rate is among the lower side among language companies. Find that while you can gain lots of successful advice from the company bulletin board, but offering advice is often better to those in authority.

Stay home. That's all. Nothing else.

Inconvénients

Fifteen seconds to recover between stressful calls. The health insurance they offer is super expensive for the poorly paid for hours you get. It does not match. Micromanage everything, constant supervised and not a proper guidance after being pointed the errors of the week. Extreme poorly paid for the higher quality of job that they want. The company charges 3 or 4 dollars for minute, but an interpreter gets paid 15 an hour before taxes. See the difference? Days off unpaid always. Not fair. Not even during sickness, grief or personal emergencies.
