Avantages
Working in Costco building, interacting with customers and Costco employees and other vendors
Inconvénients
District managers can cause a lot of anxiety, unnecessary fear, and practically micro-managed everything employees do. It can be very boring at times after the Stores open. Sometimes you have to work split-shifts (a few hours in the morning then a few in the afternoon/evening.) The pay is practically minimum wage and even as a Full-Time employee you only work 30-36 hours a week instead of 40. You DO NOT get any discounts at Costco. You are treated as a vendor inside the buildings. There is a VERY HIGH turnover. They will hire anyone practically when they should focus on applicants with Floral experience. The 'Secret Shopper' program is a nightmare. If you are not standing by the cooler during you shift and you are caught then you get in trouble. Also Costco Management often treat KMS Employees like they don't belong.
