Avantages

Iterable used to be a kind place where you were given opportunities to grow. The bi-weekly townhall is a great venue to learn about the success of the company. Many people that work here are the most dedicated and smartest people I've worked with. It's sad to see so many leave.

Inconvénients

Wow, I've been at Iterable almost 4 years - the past 6-8 months it's really gone downhill fast. It does not feel like the same company in the last 8 months especially with recent layoffs. Management is being hired/promoted and not equipped/trained and lean heavily on ICs and managers often take credit for IC work/opinions....Favoritism and politics have become the new norm. The People Team have a long way towards gaining trust within the organization. The rate of burnout/attrition is high, the head of talent management and CPO made zero effort to push the dial on burnout in Iterable's culture despite multiple town hall questions.  As a remote first organization - remote culture is really isolating with zero effort put into engaging team members - just back to back zoom meetings. Advice given is to speak to your manager/HRBP. Personally, I've raised burnout on my team multiple times to my HRBP and was told this is normal at Iterable with my HRBP shrugging that there's nothing they can do (what is the point of meeting then?). The CPO is not trustworthy, (acts completely differently when another exec is on the call, terrible communication, no empathy). There's a lack of transparency when the CPO speaks - don't raise issues to them you'll be on their hit list. No one is going to speak directly to the CEO about the CPO as the CFO is personally connected to the CPO (CPO has openly said this). Like other companies in tech, Iterable recently had our third layoff (sorry to see so many go). What's weird is that Iterators were concerned about cash burn rate specially about hosting an in-person company off-site given previous layoffs. Instead leadership ignored a lot of feedback about cost cutting and concerns and went ahead with the event anyways. A couple of months later we had our largest layoff to date.  As someone on Blind mentioned - the best days of Iterable are behind us. A lot of great talent is leaving the company due to recent changes and culture changes. Again, leadership won't talk about issues openly - townhall has become heavily censored.

Avantages

Supportive and collaborative team environment. Friendly coworkers who are willing to help. Good work-life balance and flexible scheduling. Clear new vision aligned with the AI era. Strong investment in AI-driven capabilities and modernization. Leadership is focused on adapting to evolving customer and market needs.

Inconvénients

Some processes are still evolving as the company modernizes. Cross-team communication could be more consistent during periods of change. Career paths and internal processes could be more clearly defined. Customers increasingly expect strategic marketing guidance, but the organization is not always structured to support that need; Clearer separation of responsibilities is needed, with dedicated marketing strategy expertise distinct from Customer Success and technical roles focused on execution and alignment

Avantages

There is a tremendous amount of talent at Iterable. The people are smart, they care, they word hard and tirelessly, and they constantly try to find a way to be successful. Often, you even feel joy when with your colleagues because they are truly good humans that believe in the trajectory of the organization.

Inconvénients

If the product is not differentiated, then a company-wide strategy should be instituted on how to land business. If profitability is the most important, then there will not be any land grab opportunities. When your entire company is at a awards dinner and your new CEO stands on stage and cusses you out for not being in seat and you are still not hitting OTE targets, why would you want to stay? The culture is floundering. The product is not moving fast enough to compete. The finance team won't allow creative deal structures. And the culture is not worth the pressure and lack of ability to be successful.
