Avantages
I was a Product Manager at Intuit for 3+ years focused on small business solutions. Intuit's a great place to earn a paycheck - it's "stable", there's plenty of nice people, and you'll have work / life balance which is worth it's weight in gold.
Inconvénients
Intuit doesn't live up to their values. 1) They don't value their employees - Intuit lays people off through "re-orgs" every 9 months. It's great because you get a new job every so often (if you're not on the hit list) but it's an absolute morale killer. I was lucky and got by but it leaves you with a bitter taste in your mouth. What a terrible business environment! 2) "Leadership" (Directors and above) are totally out of touch with reality - they're unfamiliar with their products and have no clue what small businesses are about. Most have been in the corporate world their whole life so they can't relate. 3) Little innovation happening - they talk a big game here but don't deliver. In fact staying the course and building relationships with a few key people is the way to have a long career at Intuit. 4) Intuit's more focused on making money than on helping small businesses (my opinion and I'll leave it at that) 5) Complacent leaders that can't think for themselves out of fear of #1. If they rock the boat (it's a nice boat), they will be on the hit list the next time around. 6) Intuit loves PowerPoint...
