Avantages
IPS takes care of their employees with great benefits and management supports their employees at every corner. Management is also open to any suggestions for improvements to the company. Recommendations are taken seriously and looked into. They're always looking for ways to improve, both internally and externally supporting our clients which is nice. The company has been successfully growing over the years and has a very good reputation in the industries they are supporting. They tend to hire folks that are a cut above the rest, so you are surrounded with good people who will help teach you and help you grow and be successful. You don't just feel like a number as you do with some of the bigger companies. IPS cares about the individual employees and at the end of the day wants all of their employees to be successful, happy and continuing to grow. Work/life balance is excellent and they go out of their way to make sure no one is overworked or getting burned out. They understand a well rounded employee that has a balanced life (not all work) are the best employees.
Inconvénients
As with any consulting firm, sometimes you are assigned to great projects with great clients. Other times the projects and clients are less desirable. Sometimes you get to work projects with other IPS employees and others it's just you which can make you feel disconnected/isolated from IPS. Overall though, management is open to feedback and if you want a change, you just have to communicate your desires and be patient - they'll do everything they can to get you where you want to be.
