Salary is poor, and you have to fight for bonuses and payrises
No matter what is achieved, no matter how many obstacles and hurdles our department overcame, it was never enough. Senior execs always demanded more with never any recognition of how strained and stress staffed, nor what they had already achieved.
The systems and processes are archaic. So much rigmarole and process for things which would be easily simplified if those making decisions actually listened to the people working the job day in day out.
Too often to criticise, rarely recognised good work.
Expected to pick up extra roles and responsibilities with no more pay or time allowance.
Massive downsizing of department
A lot of boundaries in communication. Nothing is direct and clear from exec office to worker level, all very hidden away and disguised.
