      Avantages

      They placed me within Microsoft as a contractor during a difficult econoomy. HR/benefits team is fairly responsive to benefits questions and does assist staff in getting benefits questions addressed.

      Inconvénients

      It is the classic contractor 'body shop' (puts bodies in chairs and collects cut of clieny billable hours). OK Medical/Dental/Vision benefits; Sacrifice paid days off for higher hourly rate; Poor 401(k) match; Additional training to keep skills frresh/marketable is non-existent; Very little (no) communication with customer account representative; All communications are driven by the contractor up thru Account Rep/Insight Global ('IG') office...no communications or follow thru by IG office staff.

      Can make good money, your coworkers are great

      Inconvénients

      - work 7:45-5pm every day and will be questioned if you leave early - "hybrid" is onsite mon-fri with no flexibility - management is absolutely insane in every way - zero diversity, only hire blonde women in their 20s - base salary is laughable and you will be making that for at least a year if not more - management will play favorites and that has a direct impact your paycheck - constant work drama - no rewards for hard workers - benefits are a JOKE - 401k match is $250/year, health insurance is terrible, and zero perks of the job
