Avantages
Pay was above minimum wage, opportunity to make commission, speaking to people all over the world made the day slightly more interesting.
Inconvénients
Small stores with nothing to do but wait for customers to try and upsell to or the occasional stocking up once a day, expect a lot of standing around or walking in circles. Having to go through security every day and arrive at work early was a hassle and lack of freedom before you get your airside pass. Harsh, difficult to achieve personal sales goals will be put on you from your first week with repercussions if not regularly achieving it. Long, 9 hour shifts starting at 4am or finishing at 9pm are NOT worth it. Most of the employees were understandably miserable or waiting to “get out”.
