Lacking non-profit culture and you should NOT give notice of resignation. Trust me. - Avis employé Project Manager IPRO

I recently gave notice of my resignation from IPRO after finding a job that felt like a non-profit. I did not like the fact that working at IPRO was synonymous with working at any Long Island medical office. After submitting notice of my resignation, I immediately faced retaliation (not being able to use or be paid for unused vacation days, being asked to commute on all days I was previously scheduled to work from home, etc.). I chose to look for employment elsewhere due to the culture at IPRO. As a person of color, I was uncomfortable with there being Trump supporters in the office. I also just wanted to be in a non-profit environment where I could do meaningful work. I’m really happy to be done with all of it and regret accepting the offer a year ago. IPRO screwing me out of payment upon my departure has only validated my initial impression of the company.
