Training is great! It's a really good place to start with no experience.
Inconvénients
Included but are not limited to: - The lack of validation (valid health and safety concerns regarding clients and working conditions were brought up more thann once, and were brushed to the side each time). - The lack of professionalism (upper and middle management at the Columbus location would consistently talk down on, and in some cases belittle, each other and entry level RBTs in the workplace, and among other things, upper management would respond with attitudes and passive aggressive comments when asked a question, IF they responded at all). - The hostility displayed in the office (see professionalism example). - The total disregard for the safety and well-being of the employees (See validation example, as well as, not allowing workers to wear face coverings or masks at any point of the corona pandemic, not respecting or acknowledging specific concerns brought up regarding the companies COVID policy, and rarely sending obviously sick clients home). - The hypocrisy shown by upper management (they made a huge issue about employees discussing client information that did not pertain to their caseload, understandable; however, literally the next day they proceeded to ask at least 3 people that were not on a particular case if they had heard what happened with that parent and then filled them in on all the details in a gossipy manner in the middle of the playroom in front of me, other RBTs, and clients that were present in the room). - The blatant favoritism shown throughout the clinic. - The lack of transparency (GoalPoint has acknowledged that there is a lack of transparency in the company, that has and still creates friction within the ranks, and has stated that they will rectify this issue; however, to date there are no visible signs that that information is being acted upon).
