Inconvénients
Immature and Unqualified Leadership: Many individuals in management and senior leadership roles appear to have been promoted based on personal connections rather than merit or experience. In some cases, leaders relied on tools like ChatGPT to figure out basic aspects of running a business or managing a team—highlighting a significant lack of preparedness and expertise. Lack of Diversity: During my two years at the company, I observed minimal efforts toward building a diverse workforce. At one point, there were only four individuals who could be considered "diversity hires," and by the time I left, that number had dropped to one. There was no meaningful commitment to inclusion. Culture of Fear: Employees often came into work unsure if they would still have a job by the end of the day. There was a constant, unspoken threat of being let go, which created an unhealthy and unproductive environment. Toxic Workplace Culture: Despite promoting a strong culture through internal messaging and a "culture deck," those values were never genuinely reflected in day-to-day operations. In practice, the culture was the worst I’ve experienced in my career. Unprecedented Turnover: High turnover was the norm, but it went far beyond typical industry churn. At one point, nearly the entire HR team was either fired or “let go,” including the COO—indicative of deeper systemic issues within the organization. This place needs to be shut down.
