Avantages
Flexible Hours when there is a lot of work. Okay support. Direct supervisor was great to work with, had a good team at times. Not a lot of drama and you actually have the tools to work on the jobs you need to work on unlike other places.
Inconvénients
You are at the mercy of whatever contract they have. You are hired as a full time employee but your schedule Is like a contract worker, if planes get canceled or contracts canceled you don’t get paid. Company is going through a lot of changes so you are in a non stop roller coaster of expectation changes, work schedule can change week to week. Supervisor usually tried to accommodate but you are still at the mercy of the contracts. Pay is okay, no cost of living increases. You will likely be paid the same as somebody with no experience but have to do all the work for them. Training takes forever to get certified so possible lost hours if you can’t work a plane.
