      Avantages

      The upper management interact well with the employee's and show that they care. The company has always been flexable with balancing personal issues with professional expectations. Pay is good, hours are great, typical benefits, small company that is well rooted throughout the city of Rochester and the surrounding towns. Company has and will be around for many years.

      Inconvénients

      Smaller company which makes it difficult to advance, but small enough to allow for job security. Accomplishments are felt as if the entire company contributed to the advancements. No real cons.

      Family orientated, flexible, and great mentoring or training/resources. Great Atmosphere.

      Avantages

      Fair amount of autonomy. People are nice from the top on down with some exceptions. Customers were always wonderful to deal with. There is room to personally grow and move, should others not stand in the way.

      Inconvénients

      The only things managed at this place are emergencies - outside of this, the place is expected to run itself. There are no defined jobs, attempts at defining them are met with resistance. Everyone thinks they are a manager and next up to be CEO. This causes an incredible amount of internal resistance to anything. People who care end up way overburdened and people who don't self-promote. Drove me out of IT - everyone's an expert and are willing to die on a cross to 'win', but nobody really wants to carry anything out and there's no accountability when it breaks delivery.
