Avantages

he team in Prague and Devsdata as a whole is definitely the company’s biggest asset. The vibe is very down-to-earth, relationships are collaborative, and there is no unnecessary corporate politics. As an HR Specialist, I wasn't just doing data entry or paperwork; I had a lot of autonomy to implement my own recruitment and Employer Branding ideas, which gave me massive professional growth over my 5-year tenure. On top of that, the hybrid model works smoothly with zero micromanagement, as management genuinely cares about results and ownership rather than just clocking in hours.

Inconvénients

The company expands quickly, so internal processes struggle to keep up with the rapid growth. You definitely need to be comfortable with a fast pace, constant change, and occasional ambiguity. Additionally, important strategic updates or decisions could sometimes take a bit longer to trickle down to the Prague office, so cross-office communication flow could be a little tighter.

Avantages

Been here for about 9 months now as a React developer and honestly it’s a pretty solid place to work. The frontend stack is super modern we use React with TypeScript and Next.js for all the newer projects which is awesome for career growth. The dev team in Chicago is super chill and always down to help out when you get stuck on a weird bug. Hybrid policy is also very flexible, nobody is micromanaging your office days as long as the tickets are moving. Pay and health benefits are good for the Chicago market.

Inconvénients

Because the platform is scaling so fast some of the legacy components are a real pain to work with, especially some messy global state management in the older repos. Sprint planning can also feel a bit rushed sometimes and product managers occasionally change requirements mid-sprint which is pretty frustrating for the timeline. Internal documentation for our UI library is also kind of outdated.

Avantages

Listen, if you’re looking for an HR spot in Chicago where they actually treat you like a human being, this is it. The vibe is just awesome—it’s not that stiff, old-school corporate energy. Everyone is super chill, and the leadership actually listens to your ideas instead of just giving orders. The perks are also a huge plus. The health benefits are solid, the office is in a great spot, and the flexibility is a lifesaver. I don’t have to stress if I need to run an errand or work from home for a bit. You really feel like you’re making a difference here, not just pushing papers all day.

Inconvénients

I mean, it’s not perfect—it gets crazy busy. There are days when the workload feels like a mountain, and "urgent" tasks keep piling up out of nowhere. You definitely need to be good at multitasking, or you’ll get overwhelmed pretty fast. Also, some of the internal processes are still a bit of a mess. You’ll definitely run into moments where things feel chaotic or disorganized, so you have to be okay with "winging it" sometimes while we figure things out.
