Avantages
Lots to learn about mistakes made at a failing startup. Exposure to serve one of the largest systematic hedge funds in the world.
Inconvénients
Calling Crux the Theranos of Fintech implies that they've succeeded in "making it big", which gives the company way too much credit. The company only has one signed customer. Management is too focused with themselves and cannot execute. As mentioned in a previous post, the CTO's approach to development is having different teams build the same feature without telling either team. The result of this is that nothing was delivered and a lot of trust was lost within between engineering and leadership. Leadership lacks accountability - a wonderful example is that there is still no action taken from Crux's response to negative reviews in October. The company's inability to deliver new features and sign new customers is starting to take a huge hit on the company. Our investors are losing trust in us.
