Avantages
This company is taking major strides to balance scaling its business with caring for its employees. I've seen it come through some growing pains and become the better for it. Fully paid health / vision / dental / life, gym membership, well-stocked kitchen, crockpot Fridays, and generous PTO (including mental days and don't-ask-just-need-time-off days) all contribute to a great package. Conversation with management leads to action, and I know that the staff's needs are considered highly in decisions. As far as co-workers are concerned, this team is the mosquito's tuxedo - folks in all departments are hard-working and fun to be around. Laughter lightens the mood constantly, and when the results of someone's mistakes occasionally crop up, teammates jump in to help without dragging out their pitchforks for a witch hunt. A welcome change from times gone by!
Inconvénients
Definitely fewer as the company grows. The issues I've had along the way have been consistently addressed through clear communication and action by management. The position of Account Manager can be fast-paced and stressful at times, and it's not for everyone. It can be hard on perfectionists, but that also brings opportunity for positive challenge.
