      One of the few transparent ways to explore civic tech. Depending on who you’re matched with, project can be high impact and interesting.

      Inconvénients

      Some others in the cohort had worse experiences from being matched with a slower moving department or department that had misaligned expectations.

      Avantages

      The workplace placement was well-organized and the civic tech professional development events were very helpful in learning about the field.

      Inconvénients

      I didn't like the remote nature of the work, since it made it more difficult to connect with colleagues and learn.
