Avantages

The bell team itself is a great group to work with. Probably the most family-like team you’ll find on property. You make friends and the pay is solid with tips included. Miladin and Max are great at the head of the team and, overall, you’ll share some laughs and good times. Good opportunity to network with guests as well, many of whom are successful in their own fields and other valets have landed jobs from connections they’ve made at CBI.

Inconvénients

The rest of the hotel management is incredibly disorganized and out to lunch. Decisions contradict one another and lack common sense. There’s a reason they seem to be churning out managers in other departments and higher up in the company left and right. This can be frustrating considering the Bell/Valet team is consistently rated by evaluators as the best department and yet other departments often create messes for the bell team to rectify. Sometimes can be a bit overstaffed and the employee meals are terrible (plus they’re served during the busiest times for valet so it’s difficult to find time to grab dinner). Also, there’s basically no upward mobility within the hotel so it’s a summer job or a long-time waiting for any sort of promotion to anything else.
