1. Research collaboration with a doctoral research team in various breeding programs at Department of Biotechnology, Institute of Science and High Technology and Environmental Science, Graduate University of Advanced Technology, Kerman, Iran, from June 2, 2017 to April 22, 2022. These researches aimed at (i) evaluating some candidate housekeeping genes as internal controls for normalizing expression analysis of durum wheat (ii) evaluating some physiological, morphological and biochemical traits, expression of some specific genes and proteomic profile in Lepidium draba plant, under drought and salinity stress conditions (iii) evaluating expression changes in the TaNAC2 and TaNAC69-1 transcription factors in moisture stress tolerant and susceptible accessions of a wild wheat. 2. A 6-month research period as an internship position with Prof. Tuberosa at the Department of Agricultural Sciences, University of Bologna, Italy, from November 2016 to May 2017; a successful research project aimed at evaluating (i) the capacity of durum wheat to accumulate osmolytes in response to drought stress, (ii) the morphological response of durum wheat roots to high osmotic potential and (iii) the presence of specific haplotypes for root-specific loci in barley.
