Avantages
Work/life balance is good (maybe not for managerial level employees.) The CEO and COO are generally rational people who seem to genuinely have their employees best interests in mind. The PTO and other benefits are properly fantastic as compared to similar companies. The almost two week winter break is a fantastic perk that I would hope never goes away(I might add that the break is fully paid.) The newer company goal/bonus incentives are a nice addition.
Inconvénients
As I see it- at the moment there are some very toxic and irrational members of the upper management. They hold unrealistic expectations and display ultra irrational/combative personalities. There is virtually no room for advancing up in the company(I can speak to this from experience with front office and production aspects). Lateral moves are abundant... The inter family and friend group hiring (in production specifically) has resulted in some rather malevolent cliques . This isn't unlike general human tendency so I am not saying it is a Benson problem- it could happen anywhere! But the reality is that is IS happening there now.
