Avantages
The support staff are committed and hard working. However they are undervalued by the assistant directors who see them and other managers as disposable.
Inconvénients
There is an environment of blame and bullying from the top down. The senior team do not value individuals or recognise skills. They fail to support staff and are quick to blame them for their own mistakes. Assistant directors and CEO does not acknowledge their own part in the failings at BCHA. There is no direction from the CEO or assistant directors. They do not lead or encourage and seem to wait for an opportunity to blame. If you value your career I would suggest you stay away from BCHA as they ruin careers. Staff turn over is extremely high and the CEO is reluctant to investigate this and listens only to his assistant directors. Support staff are afraid to report concerns as the blame culture if rife.... this makes it a dangerous place safeguarding wise.
