Avantages
I really can’t put many pros, there are some nice people who work there, but that’s the exception rather than the rule.
Inconvénients
In the time I worked there there was a large staff turnover (over 30% I believe) and if your face doesn’t fit you will soon be out of there. There is a blame and bullying culture led from the very top. Lots of bad business decisions made, the CEO and some of the directors and the blame is then passed down the line. Bullying culture is prevalent there, and I often heard assistant directors putting down others senior leaders to team members to take attention away from them. They claim to care about staff but first and foremost the CEO and some of the senior team have an approach that employees should be loyal and go above and beyond for BCHA despite them not doing the same to their staff. Benefits are really a joke despite claims they make. Lots of cliques and back stabbing goes on there. CEO spends most of his time trying to find faults in staff rather than leading the organisation to success.
