Avantages
Pros: 1. You can make extra money (not really) 2. You’re an independent contractor Cons: 1. Pay is horrible and every once in a while they offer an insulting “incentive” to work on holidays, nights and weekends. 2. They will ask you to drive long distances for gas money with no consideration for your time, skills or tools cost. By the time you’re done with each call you’ve earned less than minimum wage. 3. Management is non-existent and that’s probably a good thing since interactions with them reinforces how little they know and the lack of caring they have for your situation. 4. Dispatch will call you regardless of your schedule. Doesn’t matter who you send your availability to, they will not look at it. At a funeral? They’ll call you! Just found out you have cancer, they don’t care, they’ll call you. Tell them you’re having an operation and expect them to call to see if you can take a job while you’re in recovery, if you don’t answer they’ll call you again and then text you! 5. The app sucks and is very glitchy! Report the issues and nobody cares and they do nothing. Send them screen shots of the issues, yeah right, they’ll just tell you thanks for reporting it, and ask what’s your eta to the next call? Oh and lastly, wait till you drive 25-30 miles and they tell you that the customer cancelled an hour ago and they didn’t update you - here’s your $6 GOA fee and be happy! Oh and just shut up and go to the next rescue cause they don’t care. I could go on but you get the point. Pros Helping people but Not really because the work experience is so poor and the pay so low, you’ll quickly become disheartened with the whole experience!
