Avantages
I see some others have written about poor work-life balance here. To me, this is quite the norm working in the research industry. It's also manageable if you optimise your efficiency and proficiency, plan head and manage your time properly. I've worked in other research firms and my hours here are much better comparatively. One of the best points of the company is that if you show yourself to be work keeping and developing (by way of having a team-oriented approach, teachable, aptitude for the work), there is no lack of opportunities. The company is willing to look at the strengths/ weaknesses of each person and tailor the career path to maximise the potential (in keeping with overall business needs, of course).
Inconvénients
Being a small-sized company, there are areas where it will not be able to match up with MNCs since there are no economies-of-scale. things like formalised training courses, perks/ benefits etc. It's really just a matter of setting your expectations realistically.
