Avantages

- Good team members - Lots of snacks - Fast pace if you like learning about hardware tech - You contribute to public safety

Inconvénients

- You might encounter some sketchy things. For instance, the founder, Paul Couston, asked me to add pre-rendered components for demos that can mislead fire department customers into believing we have capabilities our system doesn't have. When I confront him, he asks me to stay quiet as it's a one-time thing. However, next week, we kept the pre-rendered components and another engineer changed its location for the next demo. We also did not have the capabilities our website advertised, such as integration with other systems, including Motoralla. - It's an unsafe work environment due to respiratory hazards from the 3-D printers in the office employees work. However, OSHA is investigating them now. Hopefully, that'll get corrected.

Avantages

Everything had vastly changed, so there isn't much left.

Inconvénients

My experience with this company has been disappointing. The leadership team often seems to operate without a clear, consistent direction, making decisions based on fleeting trends rather than long-term strategy. Unfortunately, this lack of focus trickles down to affect the rest of the organization. There’s also a noticeable disconnect between what’s promised and what’s delivered, which can be frustrating for both employees and clients. Ego often seems to drive decisions more than collaboration or data-driven insights, stifling innovation and growth. Additionally, the C-suite team appears to lack the necessary experience in leading high-performing teams effectively. This results in poor communication, inconsistent priorities, and an overall lack of structure that makes it difficult to achieve long-term success.
