      Avantages

      Working through Akraya for a Google client has been a solid learning experience. The work environment is professional, processes are well-defined, and you get exposure to high-quality engineering standards and tools. Collaboration with talented teams and access to structured workflows helps in building strong domain knowledge. Work-life balance is good, and expectations are clear.

      Inconvénients

      As with most vendor roles, there can be some limitations in terms of internal mobility and access to certain programs. Occasionally, coordination between vendor and client teams can take time, but it’s generally manageable.

      My experience with Akraya was positive in terms of the people, but disappointing from a compensation standpoint. The team I interacted with, Abhinav, who initially reached out, Priya and Saira who supported onboarding, and Shifa who handled timesheets, were all professional, responsive, and easy to work with. Communication throughout the process was clear, and the onboarding experience was smooth overall. The hiring process itself was straightforward, though fairly average and not particularly differentiated from other agencies.

      Inconvénients

      However, the compensation and benefits offered are significantly below market standards. After evaluating comparable opportunities, it became clear that similar roles through other agencies could offer substantially higher pay, potentially in the range of 50–75% more along with better overall benefits.
