Avantages

Decent pay for easy work if you have the basic concepts of programming down. Company is very open to cross-training if you show them the aptitude. HR is very down to earth and perfect for entry level 20-somethings who don't want to deal with out-of-date HR practices and people. The work-life balance is great and the company spares no expense to make sure that their culture is great as well.

Inconvénients

The entrance to the building is right off the highway in Okemos so it is a huge pain to get to work and out of work at 8am/5pm. The configuration specialist title is secretly a joke. I think anyone with very low skill set can do the job but the bright side is that at least the company looks into your skill-sets if you show aptitude for programming.

Avantages

Been here a while and glad I stuck it out. Things have gotten a lot better with new leaders and so far they've done a pretty good job changing things. Its definitely going in the right direction and we're hiring some really great people. The HR lady and the new managers seem to care about the people here. I hope they stick with it long enough to make all the positive changes they talk about. Benefits are really good plus we get a ton of PTO. Be nice to stay a while and see how this turns out.

Inconvénients

Still a lot of baggage to work through especially with some of the people who have been here a really long time. I like my team but the complaining about the good old days is lame. It's 2026 people, just move on and deal with it. Things have changed everywhere. We're lucky to have ANY remote days. The micromanagement is still kinda demoralizing but my manager is cool so it doesn't really affect me. It's a drag that some people had to make it hard for the rest of us. Hopefully they'll see that we're all doing the right things now and reward that more.
