Avantages
The company is small but turns a lot of revenue. Employees are given amply leeway if you are in the "in" crowd.
Inconvénients
Company violates labor laws (unpaid work time to set up and clean up), expected to work through lunch. Company expects workers to work some Saturdays, but with little notice and almost no tolerance for missing Saturday work for legitimate reasons. Employees are fired if they don't work a Saturday regardless of prior commitments. Management/Owners are poorly trained. Despite an employee handbook, all decisions are off the cuff, ill thought out and aggressive. Management doesn't support a communication chain or chain of command. They do not support their employees when confronted with issues. Basically, employees are set up for failure unless you are related to a higher up. The work environment is hostile and your job is never safe. There are a lot of families and family members who are held to a different standard.
