• Leadership spends more time replying to negative Glassdoor reviews than fixing the root issues • Toxic micromanagement culture and invasive communication (e.g. WhatsApp for work chats) • Last-minute planning, poor decision-making, and a blame-first mentality • Career growth is non-existent; roles are assigned without regard to skills or interests • High turnover, job insecurity, and performance evaluations that feel arbitrary • A 1.8 rating is not an anomaly — it’s a symptom of deeper, unaddressed dysfunction

Thank you for your feedback. We noted that you suggested we shouldn't spend time responding to Glassdoor postings, but since you last worked with us more than 2 years ago, we thought it beneficial to highlight a few improvements we have made these past 2 years. In terms of career progression, we have introduced an individual career development framework to help staff identify their career aspirations to allow the company to partner them to realise these aspirations. To help facilitate the accurate identification of relevant strengths and areas for development in their plans, we have rolled out a competency framework that helps individual staff identifies relevant competencies that need strengthening to achieve their career goals. And we support that with the many learning programs we availed to our staff over the past 2 years. We have also introduced a new performance appraisal framework with focus on measuring achievements of agreed upon goals and targets. We will also be rolling out a new mid-year review component this July to further strengthen the relevancy of performance appraisal. We recognised the important roles leadership plays in the company. We have therefore put in concerted efforts and successfully brought onboard a few senior leaders who came with many years of experience and proven success in their respective fields. We are committed to our journey towards a high-performing culture. These are but just a few of the measures we have taken.

Avantages

Some staffs here use their working hour to chat on whatsapp for their personal matters and coffee chats. If you see 1 male and 1 female colleagues are not at their desk at the same time: They are having coffee chats. You can come in and leave office on time and use working hour to chat. What does a female and a male do when they often chat on whatsapp and have many coffee sessions? We go to work to make revenue increase or revenue lost?

Avantages

Not that I can think of.

Inconvénients

The HR manager make things more complicated than needed most of the time, too much office politics. HR team needs a lot of improvement. If a manager has always been in a company and never experienced elsewhere I am not sure what inward contributions are there and how that could actually last so long.
