Avantages

Touched on a broad range of technologies with exposure to PCI environments. Very good benefits package. Good culture and solid social club.

Inconvénients

Lack of processes, standards and organization falls completely on the employees' shoulders with management tasking the employee to create said processes and standards instead of providing them a structure in which they can simply do their jobs and grow as professionals. Compensation is inline with a position's going rate however it doesn't justify the stressful workload which in many cases included duties that were far outside of the job description. At times, it seemed more of a dictatorship than a company with departments shifting their focus from projects and servicing customers to satisfying the CEO's erroneous desires.

Avantages

Job security if you're a competent worker. Benefits - excluding eye care, PCI industry exposure, company socials, some resourceful people, jovial folks, company looking to be a leader in its payment integration solutions.

Inconvénients

Not everyone is an equal to management and HR. Rushed projects lead to preventable issues ($$$). Arguably underpaid starting salary bracket considering clientele and duties. Some divide between departments. Little to no training on products and resources (docs and labs).

AJB’s compensation philosophy is to establish salary ranges with our MID point in line with the 50th percentile of market data. When determining base salary we factor in if the position is eligible for pager pay and/or overtime. With our focus being on total compensation, we provide additional benefits such as cell phone and internet subsidy, comprehensive health/medical benefits, discretionary bonus based on company performance, just to name a few. We also pride ourselves with the opportunities for growth and prefer to promote from within the organization. Annual performance reviews allow for open discussions about growth and also lead to salary reviews and adjustments.
