Working at A Rocha stands out in my memory as an exceptional experience. Gracious, competent supervisors directed and instructed with patience and generosity of time, working with my physical and schedule limitations, directing me to manageable tasks, and remaining accessible when questions arose. Conflict resolution in this community occurred with an otherworldly smoothness; real Christian character was demonstrated by the caring staff. The context, framed in space by the beautiful Little Campbell River and in time by moments of daily reflection and fellowship, is idyllic, and touches of beauty adorn the quaint heritage property, evidencing this is more than just an organization and even a non-profit; this is a real family.
